I’m Khaja Begum, a committed academician with over ten years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in the field of Civil Engineering. I completed my B. Tech in Civil Engineering from Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering, Mahbubnagar (affiliated with JNTU) in 2013, and went on to earn my M. Tech in Structural Engineering from Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science, also under JNTU, in 2016. Currently, I’m pursuing my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Osmania University, focusing on Advanced Concrete Systems. My areas of expertise include Structural Engineering, Concrete Technology, and Geotechnical Engineering. I’m also skilled in software tools like AutoCAD and STAAD Pro, which I regularly use in both academic and consultancy work. Over the years, I’ve actively contributed to curriculum development, student mentoring, and quality assurance processes such as NBA and autonomous accreditation. My research is primarily centered on sustainable construction materials, fiber-reinforced concrete, and the use of recycled aggregates in concrete. I’ve published several papers in well regarded journals and conferences. Beyond academics, I’ve also provided consultancy services in soil testing and concrete compressive strength evaluation. I’m deeply passionate about student engagement and encouraging innovation through research based learning. I’ve guided numerous student projects, organized technical events, and continuously strive to bring creativity and relevance into my teaching methods
