Research and Development

Research is “creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge”. It involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing evidence to increase understanding of a topic, characterized by a particular attentiveness to controlling sources of bias and error. 

Apart from the benefits of acquiring knowledge, research at college helps students enhance their problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills while also deepening their understanding of the interconnectedness between different areas of study.Research allows students to pursue their interests, learn something new, hone their problem-solving skills, and challenge themself in new ways.

DCET encourages students to work on their novel ideas and do research projects for their Mini-Projects and Major Projects. Students will be guided by a mentor–a faculty member in their project work.

DCET has to its credit, 600+research publications in International Journals, International Conferences, and National Conferences.Four Book Chapters have been published by faculty members. DCET Faculty members have published twenty books available on the online book purchase portal.Research Publications by DCET Faculty and Students have gained thousands of citations across the globe.DCET Faculty have 22 Patents Published under the Patent Office, Government of India, and abroad.
